bringing together a small living room/kitchen space, bunk room,
and upstairs master bedroom – all in one classic rectangular
cabin plan. An efficient kitchen and four-top dining area makes
the Battenkill similar to a traditional honeymoon cabin, albeit
with a spare bedroom. The Battenkill’s gathering areas
are intentionally modest in size, lending themselves to intimate
family gatherings and encouraging exploration of the outdoors,
where the plan provides spacious porches. The Sportsman’s
Room, in its own space apart from the living areas, acts like
a porch-type area itself.
